AU4U is Aurora University’s summer orientation designed to prepare incoming freshman for their first year at Aurora University. AU4U is composed of a number of activities, many of which support our commitment to helping you discover what matters and build your life around it. We are excited to welcome the Class of 2026 and are dedicated to providing you with all of the tools you need for a successful transition to AU.

At AU4U, you can expect the following:

For Students:

  • Receive an introduction to and register for your First Year Experience (FYE) course, a one-credit general education course required for graduation.
  • Meet with your academic advising team to complete your course schedule and register your classes for the fall.
  • Confirm your residence hall selection for fall, review room options, and learn more about the roommate selection process.
  • Meet student services staff in sessions focused on student success and the transition to college life.
  • Meet with student life leadership and other AU incoming students in preparation for Welcome U Orientation prior to the start of the fall semester.

For Parents:

  • Receive an introduction to the academic support services staff and learn strategies to support your student's success in college and beyond.
  • Confirm your financial aid offer, bottom-line cost, and financing options, including payment plans.
  • Join a roundtable with Aurora University's President along with AU faculty and staff members.
  • Participate in a Q&A session with representatives from key support services on campus, including security, health, and food services.
