Student Life

Discover a Campus for Everyone.

At AU, it doesn’t matter if you live in one of the seven residence halls, down the street, or the next town over. There’s always a good reason to be on campus.

That’s because students themselves plan 40–50 events a semester. That’s in addition to the free Celebrating Arts and Ideas series, which features well-known speakers and authors as well as professional musicians, films, art exhibits, and theatre productions.

Of course, Vago Field, Thornton Gymnasium, and Spartan Athletic Park are the places to be whether you’re competing on a team or cheering from the sidelines.

Campus feels like home because you have a say about where you learn. You can lead through student government. Give back to the nearby community through volunteer initiatives. Support other students as a resident assistant or peer advisor. In other words, prepare to be the life of the campus.
