Admission Requirements
AU undergraduate students seeking to enter the MAT Plus One program must submit:
- A completed graduate application for admission.
- A completed content course evaluation worksheet.
- Proof of an academic record indicative of a high probability of success in graduate study with an undergraduate cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher.
In addition to the requirements listed above, external applicants seeking to enter the MAT Plus One program must also submit:
- Official transcripts* from all previous undergraduate and graduate institutions attended.
- Two letters of reference from persons able to attest to the student’s academic and/or professional potential.
- A personal statement.
- A current resume.
After admission to the program, MAT Plus One students must submit:
- A current TB screen/test from the past 12 months (cost incurred by student).
- A criminal background check (cost incurred by student).
*Most institutions use Parchment or National Student Clearinghouse to send transcripts. If your college or university does not use either, please have your official transcripts sent to AU-Etranscripts@aurora.edu or the mailing address below.
