Campus Involvement: Spartan Ambassador Why did you choose AU? I knew AU was the right fit for me right after I took the campus tour. It felt like home and somewhere I was able to successfully strive as a student. The size of the school is perfect for me because you don't blend in with thousands of other students. I admire the small class sizes and the personal connections that students are able to make with their classmates as well as faculty.

I chose AU for two main reasons. First, my wonderful admission counselor had a helpful and bubbly personality that made me feel comfortable. And second, I was able to find a sense of home here at AU. Year: Sophomore Major: Social Work Hometown: Naperville, IL Campus Involvement: Spartan Ambassador, Social Work Association, Delight Ministries Why did you choose AU? I chose AU for a few different reasons. AU is about 25 minutes away from home, so that distance was a key factor in choosing the perfect college. AU also has one of the best social work programs in the state. With the advanced standing program, I will be able to get my Bachelor of Social Work and Master of Social Work degrees in five years instead of the traditional six years of schooling.
