Medical Emergencies

For any medical emergency, dial 911 from any campus location for assistance. Inform the dispatcher of the situation. If possible, inform Campus Public Safety so that personnel can assist. Aurora University maintains over 10 automated emergency defibrillators around campus. Bringing an AED to the location of the emergency will assist in the process of handling the emergency.

If the person is conscious and able to talk, find out who they are and what happened. Try to make them comfortable until the paramedics arrive.
